2006 Louisville Historical League Award

This award was presented to Jeffersonville Main Street Inc. for its years of revitalization, preservation, and smart growth efforts in the community.

2005 Community Legacy Award from Historic Southern Indiana

Jeffersonville Main Street Inc. nominated the City of Jeffersonville for this award. It was presented to the city for the community‚s efforts to preserve its heritage and make Jeffersonville a special place.

2004 Public-Private Partnership Award from State of Indiana

Statewide recognition was given to Jeffersonville Main Street Inc. for its Front Porch Project, a partnership with the Jeffersonville Urban Enterprise Association, to implement a home improvement incentive project for downtown Jeffersonville neighborhoods. In 2005, this project leveraged $19,000 in grant funds into more than $100,000 of investment in traditional downtown neighborhoods.

2003 National Main Street Program Recognition

Jeffersonville Main Street Inc. was awarded this national distinction in 2003 for meeting the standards of professional performance for a downtown revitalization organization as required by the National Main Street Center, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and Indiana Main Street.

2002 Innovation Award from State of Indiana

Statewide recognition was given to Jeffersonville Main Street Inc. for its innovative Smart Growth Talks that explore ways that land use and downtown revitalization are linked.

2000 Community Service Award from Jeffersonville United to Make Progress (JUMP)

Jeffersonville Main Street Inc. received this award from Jeffersonville United to Make Progress for its work to make Jeffersonville a better place through community events like the Concerts in the Park series.

1994 Downtown Revitalization Award from the State of Indiana

This award was presented to Jeffersonville Main Street Inc., Jeff-Clark Preservation, and Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana for their partnership to stabilize and restore the Lewman Building at 252 Spring Street.
