The Downtown Jeffersonville Walking Tours are led by Clark County Historian Jeanne Burke. Each tour offers a different route and fascinating details about Jeffersonville’s past. Jeanne shares anecdotes about Jeffersonville’s rich history and offers architectural and historical information about the buildings and people of Jeffersonville. Please note: Tour starting locations will vary with each tour.
SEPTEMBER 29 WALKING TOUR:
A historic walking tour of downtown Jeffersonville will take place on Friday, September 29 at 6:00 PM, light rain or shine. Meet behind the Howard Steamboat Museum (1101 East Market Street) for a tour highlighting the Port Fulton neighborhood. Clark County Historian Jeanne Burke will lead the tour, sharing stories about the neighborhood as well as architectural and historical information.
Sponsored by Jeffersonville Main Street, Inc. and the Clark County Museum, Inc., this is the fourth in a series of walking/historical tours taking place this summer and autumn.
