Jay Ellis named Staff Member of the Year
Indiana Main Street has named Jeffersonville’s own Jay Ellis ‘Staff Member of the Year’ for the second time in less than 10 years. Ellis, executive director of Jeffersonville Main Street Inc. — a downtown revitalization organization — has overseen projects varying from historic preservation to urban design to grants administration. Indiana Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann presented Ellis with the award last week during a ceremony at the statehouse.[News & Tribune]
